The Omaha Philatelic Society enthusiastically promotes the educational benefits of stamp collecting through our youth programs. All of our youth programs are supported by stamp donations from the local public.
Scouting Programs
We provide philatelic materials and give presentations to the Boy Scouts in support of earning the Stamp Collecting Merit Badge. Four educational exhibit frames (shown below) specially designed to help scouts complete items in the Merit Badge Workbook are made available during Omaha Philatelic Society merit badge support events.
