Omaha Philatelic Society Centennial Art Contest
The Omaha Philatelic Society is seeking artists to enter artwork into our art contest to help us celebrate the 100th anniversary of our stamp club in 2026!
The artwork must reflect the theme of the Omaha Philatelic Society, its centennial celebration, and/or local Omaha stamp collecting in general.
-
- The Omaha Philatelic Society is a Stamp Collectors club established on April 23, 1926
- Our club logo is the one dollar “Western Cattle in Storm” stamp issued in Omaha during the 1898 Trans-Mississippi Exposition
Artists are welcome to read our About Us page for more background on our club.
The Omaha Philatelic Society will select three entries and award cash prizes for First Place ($500), Second Place ($300), and Third Place ($200).
Selected artwork will be used on our stamp club’s centennial memorabilia, including cachets for commemorative covers (envelopes). The centennial memorabilia will be distributed during our 2026 Stamp Show. Two general examples of cachets on #6 envelopes are shown below. The cachet is the artwork on the left side of the cover.
